Description

The 325th Contracting Squadron at Tyndall AFB FL hereby gives notice of its intention to award a sole source purchase order to Applied Research Associates Inc. for the acquisition of DCP Control Panel for the Vertek Automatic Dynamic Cone Penetrometer (ADCP) under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). This announcement constitutes the only notice. The reference number is F4ATA48227A100. The NAICS code for this purchase is 334513 and the size standard is 500 employees. The ADCP systems owned by HQ AFCESA are the only four currently in the Air Force. They are very specialized pieces of test equipment, manufactured by Vertek for system compatibility. Due to equipment operational familiarity, interchangeability of parts, maintenance, and the demanding training requirements for this one-of-a kind type equipment, standardization of pavement testing equipment is essential.
