- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W9114F-08-R-0033. The proposed contract action is for VERTX/MinXray/ICRco CR Radiographic systems which the Europe Regional Contracting Office intends solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 (b) (4) Agency Standardization. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals, however, all proposals received within 10 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-26. Not a set-aside. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this solicitation is 334517. CLIN 0001 A quantity of 3 each: Computed Radiography Systems: VERTX/MinXRay/ICRco CR radiographic system, vertical mounted computed radiographic (CR) imaging system, consisting of the following items: 1ea ICRco VERTX Scanner, 1ea HP Compaq Business Desk Top Computer, 1ea QPC Vet Software, 2ea 14x17 - inch Cassettes, 2ea 10x12 - inch Cassettes, 100ea CD's with envelopes, 1ea 19in Flat Panel Monitor, 1ea VERTX Floor Stand, 1ea 14x17in - inch Grid, 1ea 10x12 -inch Grid, all items need to be 100-240 VAC/50/60 Hertz. Must include 2 each operators and service manuals. System characteristics and capabilities: Small size, light weight, collapsibility, hardened shell and portability of the unit facilitates military use both in the field environment and typical small fixed Veterinary Treatment Facilities. Ease of setup and absence of moving parts.On-board diagnostic systems for problem identification. Software of this unit is not complex and can be readily learned by non-radiology specialists. The ultra-precise flat plate scan mechanism and high resolution capabilities produce an image superior to many other systems. Imaging system can handle high volume (90 plates per hour) and has an extended life (can produce 300,000 images per plate). CLIN 0002 A quantity of 3 each : Inno Vet Radiographic System, fully integrated, UL-listed table, tube stand and generator package. Unit consists of the following components: Integrated 60Hz generator, table and tube stand, C458 X-ray tube, high voltage cables, G800 collimator, A981 Exposure switch, 7-year parts warranty, 7-year tub pro-rated. Units must be 220VAC, 50Hz and must have 2ea operators and service manuals with it. System Characteristics and capabilities: System will be used to take radiographs of military working dogs and privately-owned animals as part of routine and emergency diagnostic procedures. System requires as little as 11 square feet of floor space. Tube detents at 40 inches SID and angulates with mechanical lock. Grid cabinet and tube stand easily interlock for automatic alignment and molded, rust-proof tray. CLIN 0003: Installation and user training of for items listed in CLINs 0001-0002. Equipment will be delivered to LANDSTUHL REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER, PROPERTY MANAGEMENT BR, GEB 3739, 66849 LANDSTUHL/KIRCHBERG, GERMANY. The place of performance will be Europe Regional Veterinary Command, Northern Europe District Veterinary Command: Baumholder, Mannheim, and Bitberg Veterinary Treatment Facilities. Required delivery is 30 Sep 08.
