Description

(i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.603, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) This Request for Quotation (RFQ) is issued as solicitation, FA2517-08-T-6122. (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-26. (iv) This acquisition is procured as a 100% small business set-aside. The NAICS code for this requirement is 334310 and the size standard is 750 employees. A single award will be made as a result of evaluation of quotes. As part of your quote, you are required to fill out the requirements listing as written mirroring line item, quantity, unit, part number description, price and total extend price information; otherwise your quote will be considered nonresponsive. (v) The following one commercial item is requested. The clause at FAR 52.211-6 -- Brand Name or Equal (Aug 1999), applies to this acquisition. For an Or Equal item quoted, please include technical specifications. If technical specifications are not included, your quote will be considered non-responsive. (See attached "Encore Streaming Video Server - Item Listing and Salient Characteristics" for required item and description) (vi) The commercial item listed is for Encore Streaming Video Server, Brand Name or equal product and one year maintenance. (vii) All items listed shall be priced and delivery be FOB destination to Peterson AFB, CO and required delivery is 30 days after receipt of order (ARO). (viii) The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items. (JUNE 2008) (ix) The provision at FAR 52.212-2(a) Evaluation--Commercial Items (a) (JUNE 1999), applies to this acquisition. Evaluation will be based on lowest price meeting the technical specifications.
