Description
Contracting Office Address General Services Administration, Public Buildings Service (PBS) – 301 7th Street, SW, Washington, DC 20407. Description UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT Notice of Intent to Lease Space Using Other Than Full and Open Competition, Ballston-Virginia Square Submarket, Arlington, Virginia. The United States Government intends to award a lease using Other than Full and Open Competition to Ashton Park Associates, L.L.C. at Founder’s Square, 675 North Randolph Street, Arlington, Virginia 22203 REQUIREMENT: GSA requires 362,761 rentable square feet of office space in the area bounded by North Glebe Road, Washington Boulevard, North Kirkwood Road, North Jackson Street, and North Fifth Street, in Arlington, Virginia. The space must comply with the Department of Defense Anti-Terrorism Standards (AT). AT Standards require, among other things, avoidance of progressive collapse, blast protection, DoD full building occupancy, control of any underground parking, and a minimum of 82 foot standoff or setback from a defendable perimeter. The requirement is for a 15-year term fully serviced lease for occupancy between July 1 and December 31, 2011.
