- The Air Force Research Laboratory Information Directorate, Rome NY intends to solicit and negotiate a sole source purchase order under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 with Opnet Technologies, Inc, 7255 Woodmont Avenue, Bethesda, MD for the purchase of (6) existing OPNET Modeler Licenses; (6) Technical Support for existing OPNET Modeler Licenses; (6) existing GSA Wireless Module license upgrades; Technical Support for (6) GSA Wireless module; (6) existing Terrain Modeling Module license upgrades; Technical Support for (2) existing Terrain Modeling Module; (2) OPNET TIREM license upgrades; and Technical Support for (6) existing OPNET TIREM Module, all for the period of 2 July 2008 to 1 July 2009. Service expired 2 July, Support must be paid back to date of expiration. No other company can provide upgrades or technical support. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quotes. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received (quote with product specifications) will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The NAICS code is 541511. This procurement shall be awarded under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP).
