This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number W912LC-08-R-0012 is hereby issued as a Request for Quotation. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-26 and Defense Acquisition Circular 98-100. This acquisition is unrestricted. The North American Industry Classification System code 339999. The Government intends to award a firm fixed priced contract, brand name or equal, for the following items: Note: Full descriptions can be found on the internet. The manufacturer names and part numbers are provided only to assist potential offerors in understanding the Government's requirement. The Government is not soliciting or suggesting a particular name brand, and will consider offers for any brand that fulfills the Government's need. M900A -QUANTITY 11 EACH The Millennium M900A Vertical Foregrip WeaponLight attaches to Picatinny rail interface-equipped weapons via a built-in A.R.M.S. throw-lever mount. Each unit is equipped with five separate switches: (1) two pressure-sensitive momentary activation pads to control the main battle light -- one on each side of the grip for ambidextrous operation (2) a constant-on switch (3) a system disable switch to lock the light in the OFF position for covert operations or to eliminate accidental light activation during storage, and (4) a third, smaller momentary switch to control two low-output LEDs that are useful whenever there is a need for a very small amount of light (stealth navigation, nighttime breaching operations, etc.) Battery/Safety Compliance FEATURES Batteries - Three SureFire lithium SF123 3.0 Volt with 10-year shelf life Lamp Assembly/Runtime - SureFire MN10 xenon/halogen gas-filled lamp assembly with 125 lumens output for 60 minutes, or 225 lumens for 20 minutes with included MN11 ultra-high output lamp assembly Construction - Nitrolon® (non-conductive, impact-resistant, aramid glass-filled polymer) housing, Pyrex lens window, shock-isolated aluminum bezel with hard-anodized finish Switching - Pressure sensitive momentary activation pads, constant-on rotary switch, system disable rotary switch Flawless white beam, always in focus Bright enough to temporarily blind an opponent Fits most Picatinny rail interface-equipped weapons including, Colt Carbine, Colt Rifle, G36, G36K, and UMP40/45 Available in: Secondary LED navigation lights WH (white), RD (red), and BL (blue) Batteries included MR-11/SUREFIRE MOUNTING RAIL-QUANITY 150 The MR11 attaches to all rail-less variations of the Beretta 92 pistol, including the government M9, and the Beretta 96, providing the rail necessary to mount the SureFire X Series WeaponLights. With the MR11 attached, the X Series WeaponLights can be easily slid off your pistol, carried separately, and slid on again when needed. The MR11 fits snugly and securely to the pistol. This lightweight, low-profile mount is slim enough to allow the pistol plus mount to fit most holsters made for the Beretta 92. May not fit custom-molded holsters. Made from very high strength 7000 series aluminum; many competition mounts are made out 6000 series, which has about half the strength. Design allows tightening or removal of the MR11 with a cartridge rim - no hex wrench necessary. Trigger guard locking wedge is energy absorbent polyurethane, avoiding metal-to-metal contact. A spacer shim is provided to accommodate manufacturing variations in the trigger guard thickness (e.g. the M9). Features an anti-chafing pad to prevent scoring of the dust cover. FEATURES Slim design allows holstering pistol-plus-mount in most pistol-appropriate holsters Anti-chafing pad prevents dust cover damage Construction: ultra high-strength 7000-series aluminum X300 LED WEAPONS LIGHT-QUANTITY 150 The versatile SureFire X300™ features a solid-state, electronically regulated LED that generates 110 lumens of tactical-level light — enough to overwhelm an aggressor's night-adapted vision. Its specially developed Total Internal Reflection (TIR) lens creates a bright, tightly focused central beam with plenty of reach and enough surround beam to accommodate peripheral vision. A hard-anodized aerospace-grade aluminum body protects the X300's electronics, and O-ring seals and gaskets make the entire unit waterproof to 22 meters. A tempered Pyrex® window protects its LED and, thanks to a thin layer of anti-reflective coating, helps maximize light transmission. The X300 attaches to both Universal and Picatinny rails in moments, via its proprietary Rail-Lock™ system, and comes with adapter plates for both. An ambidextrous toggle/push switch provides convenient, fail-safe operation. Optional SureFire grip switches, which allow precision control without altering one's grip on the weapon, are also available for many handguns. Some firearms may require an adapter mount. See Parts & Accessories X300 True Stories Battery/Safety Compliance FEATURES Max Output: 110 lumens (5 times the light of a two-D-cell flashlight); continues producing tactical-level light for 2.4 hours Versatile beam is perfect for longer- and close-range applications Ambidextrous tactical switching enables fail-safe operation under fire Instantly attaches to most handguns with a Universal rail and handguns/long guns with a Picatinny rail 1.39" high by 1.43" wide by 3.53" long; weighs 3.7 ounces (with batteries) Batteries — two SF123 3-volt lithiums with 10-year shelf life Aerospace-aluminum construction with Mil-Spec, Type III hard-anodized finish O-ring sealed and gasketed; waterproof to 22 meters Accepts optional pressure-activated switches for precision control without altering grip on weapon Batteries included HL1-C-TN-HELMET LIGHT-QUANTITY 200 This compact, multiple-output Helmet Light in tan features three white LEDs, two red LEDs, and one blinking infrared LED that serves as a personal Identify Friend or Foe (IFF) beacon. The white primary LEDs are perfect for general-purpose, close-work illumination; the red secondary LEDs serve the same purpose in a low-signature, night-vision-friendly color. The Helmet Light attaches via a special mount that clamps semi-permanently to the rim of any Modular Integrated Communications Helmet (MICH) by means of two socket-head machine screws. Once the mount is attached, the light can be easily slid onto the mount, where it locks in place; depressing a small lever slides it right off, so the Helmet Light can be quickly removed for servicing or transport onto its optional Z71 carry clip, which attaches to any MOLLE or ALICE vest.
