- This is a notice of intent that WR-ALC anticipates issuing a Firm Fixed Price Type Contract for Supplies or Services. The item of purchase is the Clinometer, Elevation (National Stock Number (NSN): 6675-00-293-2930; Part Number (P/N): 142/43). This acquisition consists of a total of 4-Years (Basic Year, Plus Three (3) Options). The BASIC YEAR has a quantity of 2 Each; OPTION ONE has a Quantity Range of 1- 2 Each; OPTION TWO has a Quantity Range of 1- 2 Each; and OPTION THREE has a Quantity of only 1 Each. The Item Description consists of the following; Size / Dimension: Height: 8.5 Inches; Width: 3 Inches; Depth: 6.5 Inches; Pounds: 304 lbs. Form/Function: This item is used to test for accurate alignment, calibration, and checking and setting angles. Predominant Material of Manufacture: Steel. The Government does NOT possess the necessary Data to manufacture or complete the item. SOLICITATION WILL BE ISSUED WITHIN APPROXIMATELY 15 DAYS FROM THIS NOTICE. This procurement is Commercial and is also a Competitive acquisition. Interested person(s) may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. All proposals received within the 15 days after issuance of solicitation, or 30 days after the publication date of this synopsis will be considered. OMBUDSMAN: All potential offeror(s) should contact the buyer/PCO identified above for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. If the contracting officer does not satisfy your concerns, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate serous contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
