- The Department of Veterans Affairs, Augusta GA (VISN 7), is issuing a solicitation for annual inspection of diesel generators along with checking the switch gears for the following generators McGray Edison/Onan Model 750DFHA 750 KW, SN C980710235, Cummins/Onan, Model 350DFCC,350 KW, SN B920448590, Cummins, Model NTA855CS, 225 KW, SN 10777936, Caterpillar Model SR4, 650 KW, SN 6MA01068, and Cummins/Onan Model DFEK5754109, 500 KW, SN L070136564 in accordance with current NFPA 99 and NFPA 100 testing and maintenance activities. Inspection shall include assessing the prime movers exhaust gas temperature against the minimum temperature recommended by the manufacturer for the VAMC, Tuscaloosa, 3701 Loop Rd East, Tuscaloosa AL. The period of performance is October 1, 2008 through September 30, 2009, with four (4) one year options at the Governments discretion. Contractor shall furnish all necessary equipment and labor for this service. The NAICS code for this procurement is 811310, with a size standard of $7.0 million. This procurement is unrestricted.
