Description
Notice of Intent to Award The Division of Acquisition Management intends to award a contract, utilizing SAP procedures as set forth in FAR Parts 12 for the Administration for Children and Families, Department of Health & Human Services for the system programming for claims data matching that is maintained by Insurance Service Office (ISO). Interested firms may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent to award is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received by the closing date, September 15, 2008, will be considered by the Government (send request for SOW to e-mail address listed below). A determination to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Each response should include the following Business Information: a.DUNS. b.Company Name. c.Company Address. d.Current GSA Schedules appropriate to this Award. e.Do you have a Government approved accounting system? If so, please identify the agency that approved the system. f.Type of Company (i.e., small business, 8(a), woman owned, veteran owned, etc.) as validated via the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). All offerors must register on the CCR located at http://www.ccr.gov/index.asp g.Company Point of Contact, Phone and Email address The Government desires the following from the contractor: 1.The contractor must have a fully functional, comprehensive child support with property/casualty insurance claims database. 2.The contractor must have a minimum of 5 years experience conducting large data matches. 3.The contractor must have the ability to program their system (with minimal systems changes) to compare information provided by OCSE concerning individual who owe past-due child support with property/casualty insurance claims information contained in their database as authorized by individual insurance companies. All responses are due to the Contract Specialist by 12 noon September 15, 2008. Any questions should be submitted by September 10, 2008. Government Official Designated for Receipt of Bids Charles R.
