- NAICS Code: 334516 The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 13, intends to procure the following Teledyne-Tekmar, or equal, equipment for the Region 5 Superfund Mobile Laboratory: 1 each Stratum PTC Concentrator1 each SOLATek Multi-Matrix Vial Autosampler Note: The above items are for a complete system for preparation and extraction samples for analysis of volatile organic compounds. This system will consist of VOA Autosampler connected to a Purge and Trap Concentrator. The specification for each unit is as follows: 1. Purge and Trap Concentrator capable of running EPA CLP, SW846 and 600 Series methods..a) Needs rapid trap heating Siltek tubing and Siltek treated unions throughout the sample pathway, 5 mL frit sample sparger, heated sample mount, DryFlow Moisture System, on-Trap injection port, U-trap technology, and RS-232 interface capability. b) Ability to be programmed and controlled using a workstation with internal memory of active sequence. c) Instruction manuals, spare fuses and controller software. d) Appropriate GC/MS interface cable for use with an Agilent 6890/5973 and interface cable for the autosampler. e) operates on 110 volts 2. VOA Autosampler for water, wastewater, soils and solids sampling utilizing EPA methods 5030 and 5035. a) Needs programmable and priority sample scheduling, multiple standard injection systems (minimum of two, prefer three), MUST HAVE 72 vial capacity, variable injection volume capability and dilution capabilities. b) Ability to be programmed and controlled using a workstation with internal memory of active sequence. c) All cables required to connect to Purge and Trap Concentrator and controller workstation. d) To include the instruction manual, spare fuses, installation kit and controller software. No separate solicitation will be made available. If submitting a quote for items of different manufacture but equal to the above Teledyne Tekmar items, submit with your quote the items' technical specifications. Technical specifications must include the physical dimensions of the proposed units. Submit with your quote as separate line items the price for setting up the equipment and the familiarization training for government end users and the total price of necessary cabling for the items to be interfaced with the existing Agilent 6890 Gas Chromatograph and Agilent 5973 Mass Spectrometer. Indicate with your quote all available product warranties. Evaluation of offers will be based on price after the determination by the government end users that the offered items can meet the operational requirements of the Agilent 6890 Gas Chromatograph and Agilent 5973 Mass Spectrometer.
