- This is notice that Naval Special Warfare Group One, San Diego, Ca. intends to award a Sole Source Firm Fixed Price Contract to Linxx Security, Inc. 272 Bendix Rd Suite 220 Virginia Beach, Va. 23452-1367 under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304© (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. This is a simplified acquisition. FSC 8465 NAICS 451110 FAC 2005-26 This notice is not a request for offers. The contractor identified is the only known source for the subject requirement. Responses to this notice will be used to determine if bona fide competition exists. Any such responses must be in writing and include technical and pricing information. The Government will not pay for any information submitted. All responses from responsible sources will be fully considered. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement action, based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. F.O.B Destination See Numbered Note 22. The task is to design and integrate a combative course within the TRADET Assaults block. Utilizing civilian subject matter experts the NSWG-1 TRADET personnel training deploying units will develop a program that is progressive in nature ands will teach prospective instructors and deploying units both combative skills and methods of instruction for sustainment training. Requirements and Qualifications: Current training curriculum tested, proven and approved by NAVSPECWARDEVGRP NSW Operational or Special Warfare compatible experience Tier-1 through Tier-3 Commands Knowledge and currency of current Naval Special Warfare (NSW) Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTP’s) for: Military Operations Urban Terrain (MOUT), Close Quarters Combat (CQC) Visit, Board, Search, Seizure (VBSS), Halo Visit, Board, Search, Seizure (HVBSS), Protective Security Detail (PSD), Military Security Detail (MSD) Knowledge and currency of current NSW Mission Essential Task List (METL) Secret Security Clearance with eligibility for Top Secret Competencies in Open/Closed Hand Striking, Weapons of opportunity and Weapons Flow. Development of Combative Course Requirements: Integration of combative into Assaults block thru the development of forty (40) hours of Focused training and thirty (30) hours of Sustainment Training for Task Units going through Unit Level Training (ULT). Training to be conducted offsite facility in San Diego. Striking (open handed, closed handed, and weapon strikes), Grappling, Detainee Handling, Weapons flow for M4 carbine and Sig Sauer pistol, Weapons of opportunity.
