- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE Notice of intent to award a sole source contract to: Eventide Inc., 1 Alsan Way, Little Ferry, NJ 07643-1001. Eventide will supply Digital Voice Logging Recorder for the Denali National Park and Preserve, Alaska. (See General Description below). Under authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii), the value of the contract is expected to be under $21,000. The National Park Service (NPS), Alaska Regional Office requires (1) EVENTIDE VR725 One 9.4 GB DVD Drive w/Dual 250GB (41,200hs) Mirrored Internal Hard, (1) 7" Active Matrix Color Touch Screen GUI Front Panel, (1) 16 Channel Analog Radio & Telephone Record Cards, (1) MediaWorks/MediaAgent License for 4+4 PCs, (1) Quick Install Kit, (1) Rack Mount Slide Kit 4 Post Standard (1) APCO 25 data Integration for Radio ID Detection if Data Available, and 2nd DVD-RAM Drive for Dual Drive Operation. The National Park Service (NPS) requires the purchase of this particular brand of Digital Voice Logging Recorder because of compatibility with the Digital Voice Logging Recorder already in use. This Notice of Intent is not a request for Expressions of Interest (EOIs), proposals or quotations. No solicitation document exists and no telephone inquiries will be accepted. No contract award will be made on the basis of EOIs, proposals or quotations received in response to this notice. This supply will be procured under Firm Fixed Price Supply in accordance with FAR 12 procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized under FAR 6.302-1.
