Description

This is a synopsis from the Naval Air Systems Command, Aircraft Division (NAVAIR AD), Patuxent River, MD to contract using other than full and open competition basis with Syntellect, Inc. of Phoenix, AZ to provide Apropos hardware and software maintenance for the previously procured Automated Call Distribution (ACD) phone system and servers. Apropos is proprietary of Syntellect, Inc. and this is a follow-on to the following procurement: Contract N00421-07-MP-01673, Purchase Order HC1013-07-P-2235. The contract’s period of performance will be for one base year (1-Oct-08 – 30-Sep-09) with four option years (1-Oct-09 – 30-Sep-13). This contract will be negotiated on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, “Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.” This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, interested parties may submit a capability statement to the government for the purpose of determining whether to initiate a competitive procurement. The government will consider all capability statements received prior to synopsis closing date. Lack of registration in the Central Contractor Registration database and pursuance to DFARS 252.204-7004 Alt A, will make an offeror ineligible for award.
