Description

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) intends to issue a solicitation for a firm fixed price commercial item requirement for the development of a decommissioning funding analysis report for submittal to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, and FAR Subpart 13.5 Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) number SB1341-08-RQ-0651 is estimated to be available on or about September 3, 2008 via the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) web site at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the RFP will not be issued. It is incumbent upon contractors to monitor the FedBizOpps web site for release of the RFP and all subsequent amendments. The North American Industrial Classification Code is 541690 with a size standard of $7.0M. The nature of this work is to develop a decommissioning funding analysis report for submittal to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) as part of the NIST license renewal requirement.
