- Fort Rucker Directorate of Contracting intends to award a sole source purchase order to NGrain Corporation for a 3D computer-based training aid that can significantly enhance the training of Army Aviators in the assembly and function of various systems on the CH-47F Aircraft. NGrain holds the patent on the technolgoy platform and unique software application required for this training aid. This purchase will be issued under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized under FAR 6.302-1. The anticipated award date is 15 September 2008. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals, nor is a solicitation available. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action, based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
