Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial itemsprepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Proposals (RFP). Submit only written Proposals for RFP DE-RQ75-08SW59583. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-26. This acquisition is a Small Business Set-Aside. The associated NAICS code is 423110 with a small business size standard of 100 employees. This RFP contains one (1) line item. The line item description is as follows: CLIN 0001 One (1), Pickup Truck, New (2008 year model or newer) 4-Door LS Crew Cab with Short Box, OR EQUAL in accordance with the specifications below. NOTE: All references to specific brand names, part numbers or model information is for informational purposes only. Quotes for all makes/manufacturers will be considered so long as items quoted meet the applicable quality/capability of the item specified. - 4-wheel drive - Duramax diesel 6600 V-8 engine, 365 HP - 3200 RM - 2500 HD 4x4 - 9200 GVWR - Single rear wheels - Heavy duty frame - Torsion bar front suspension - Four-wheel antilock brakes with Dynamic Rear Proportioning (DRP) - 6-speed automatic, overdrive transmission, with Tow/Haul mode - AM/FM clock radio - Power windows - Air conditioning - Speed control/tilt steering - Power door locks - Cloth bucket seats in front, Rear 60/40 split-bench seat - Auxiliary engine oil cooler - Engine hour meter - All terrain tires - Full size spare tire - Keyless entry - Tow/haul package, including receiver hitch - 4x4 off road package - Tow hooks - Color: white exterior, Gray interior - Color keyed carpet with floor mats - Hydroformed front frame rails All quotes must be FOB Destination. The Contractor must provide the VIN Number within 30 days after award of contract and provide the vehicle within 60 days after award of contract. Golden Springfield, MO 65807-3207 Deliveries are accepted Monday through Thursday From 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The contractor shall coordinate with David McKeel at least 24 hours prior to delivery. PROVISIONS/CLAUSES. The following Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) provisions apply to this solicitation: 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items; 52.212-2 Evaluation -- Commercial Items (completed as follows:) (a) The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered.
