- NAIC 33513- Cyclic Corrision Cabinet Agency: US Army Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM), 5300 Martin Rd. Redstone Arsenal, Al 35898 POC: MAJ Gregory K. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR 12.6) as supplemental with additional information included in this noticed. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; intends to evaluate offers and award a contract without discussions with offerors. However, the Government reserves the right to conduct discussions if later determined by the Contracting Officer to be necessary. Therefore, offerors intial offer must be actively registered in the Central Contractor Registration(CCR). All responsible sources may be submit an offer, which will be considered. The offers are due by August 29, 2008. Offerors may register online at http://www.bpn.gov/CCR/scripts/index.html. The solicitationconsists of seven Contract Line Item Number (CLIN 0001), Quantity: 1, Unit of Issue: 1 each, Description: Cyclic Corrision Cabinet, 30 CU FT/850 Liters and (CLIN 0002), Quality 1, Unit of Issue: 1 each, Description: Air-Actuated Cover and (CLIN 0003), Quality 1, Unit of Issue: 1 each, Description: Solution Spray and (CLIN 0004), Quality 1, Unit of Issue: 1 each, Description: Power Exhuast Kit and (CLIN 0005), Quality 3, Unit of Issue: 1 each, Description: Heavy Duty Support and (CLIN 0006), Quality 1, Unit of Issue: 1 each, Description: Customer Care Program and (CLIN 0007), Quality 1, Unit of Issue: 1 each, Description: Shipping Freight and Insurance. Contract will be FFP, FOB Destination, Tobyhanna, PA., Inspection and Acceptance to be performed at Destination. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Offerors are advised to include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications- Commercial Items, with their offer. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement statues or Executive Orders commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The DFARS clause 252.232-7003, Electronic submission of Payment request applies to the acquisition. The contractor shall register to use WAWF-RA at https://wawf.eb.mil. Web-based training for WAWF is also available at http://www.wawftraining.com/ Cyclic Corrosion Cabinet Additional Requirements The Cyclic Corrosion Cabinet must meet the following specification parameters. The Chamber must be 30 CU.FT./850 liters, 60 Gallon Built-in solution Reservoir, 75x29x25 Exposure Zone Dimensions. The Exposure Zone Temperature minimum is 71C/160F. The Electrical Configuration must be at least 208 volts/3 Phase/60 HZ/44 AMPS. The Chamber must be capable of meeting the test requirements for GM9540 P/B (automatic cycling test chamber capable of 16 hours cycles). The Exposure Conditions include: "Electrolyte solution Acidity 0.9% NaCI, 0.1% CaCi2 and 0.25 NaHC03 "Solution Acidity pH between 6.0 and 8.0 "Typical Duration 80 cycles (1920 hours) The Exposure Cycle is thorough Salt Mist Application 90 minutes and must meet the following conditions: "Ambient conditions (25C 350 % RH) Through Salt Mist 90 minutes "Ambient conditions (25C 350 % RH) Through Salt Mist 210 minutes "Ambient conditions (25C 350 % RH) Through Salt Mist 8 hours "Humidity (95-100% RH) 8 hours Dry-off (60C, (less than)30% RH) Repeat Safety: The following safety features must be met at a minimum; "Low water cut-off protection for bubble tower "Safety sensors and shut down protection "All Operation Manuals "30/60/90 days follow-up "12 months preventative maintenance and calibration Your proposal information and commercial literature shall be submitted electronically to gregory.haywood@us.army.mil, fax (256) 876-1179. any attachments sent by email should be Microsoft Office compatible.
