- : ****ATTENTION****ALL FORMAL COMMUNICATION RELATED TO THIS ACQUISITION MUST BE DIRECTED TO GARRY BILLER, CONTRACTING OFFICER, via email: garry.biller@us.army.mil; No telephone request will be accepted. PRON: AX8F0701AX; NSN: 6150-01-560-7928; Part Number: 51136-0201; Quantity: 120 each, plus 2 year 100% option per year; Noun: Cable Assembly, Spec; Applicable to the (BE) UH-60 Airframe. Sole Source to Simmonds Precision Products Inc (Cage Code 89305) because the design of this part is unstable. Engineering, manufacturing, or performance characteristics indicate that the required design objectives have not been achieved. Major changes are contemplated because the part has a low process yield or has demonstrated marginal performance during tests or service use. These changes will render the present part obsolete and unusable in its present configuration. Deliveries are F.O.B. orgin to Texarkana, TX. The required delivery is 120 each, 400 days after contract award (DACA). Due to urgency, we intend to release the solicitation immediately and do not intend to allow a 30 day period for receipt of proposals; therefore, companies are encouraged to express their interest immediately. Adequate technical data is not available for this acquisition. All offerors must meet pre-qualification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under Standard Aviation and Missile Source Approval Request (SAMSAR). All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation.
