Description
Solicitation FA7012-08-T-0041 is amended as follows: 1. Requirment for 330 BTU Gas fired Boiler and 100 Gallon Hot Water Holding Tank has been removed. 2. Requirement for water reclamation system has been removed. 3. Water softner system has been removed. 4. Alternative equipment type /solutions will be accepted and evaluated. Videos, oral presentation or capability briefings are authorized, length is limited to no more than 45 minutes. Alternative equipment site visits (if within local area driving distance) will be considered. Information concerning the VIL Key system is provided for compatibility (See attached). Questions from site visit: Any questions concerning the hot water, gas lines, or the water reclamation system have been removed. Q1: Current scope calls for 208-volt pumps, the 208 panel is full. The 480-volt panel has space available. Can 277/480 volt pumps be used instead of 208? A1: Yes Q2: What is the capacity of the current oil/water separator? Does the discharge of the separator connect to DC sewer? A2: The capacity of the current oil/water separator is 2200 gallons. Will verify discarge connection. Q3: Does the communication line for the VIL Key system need to be underground? Will be connection be at the Fueling Station? A3: The VIL Key system for the washrack will not be shared with the fueling station. There will be a separate access panel for the washrack. The two systems will utilize the same keys. Q4: Are bid and performance bonds required? A4: No, these bonds are not required. Q5: Will the Air Force allow the contractor to drill holes in the adjacent walls if additional services need to be added from the equipment room to the wash? A5: Yes Q6: Will 460 VAC equipment be acceptable since 460 VAC is present? A6: Unknown, will verify and post answer when received. Q7: What bay will be set aside as the equipment room? A7: The Northern-most bay.
