A draft performance specification has been developed for APATS. The At-Platform Automatic Test Systems (APATS) of the Integrated Family of Test Equipment (IFTE) is the fifth generation multipurpose Armys standard automatic test equipment. It will be used throughout the Department of Defense (DoD) at all levels of maintenance to test and diagnose Armys highly complex communications, other electronic commodity equipment, missiles, aircrafts, and ground vehicles to identify failed line replaceable units (LRUs). The DoD maintainers will also use the APATS to host Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals/Electronic Technical Manuals and/or specific application software and to upload/download mission data or software. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION AND DOES NOT OBLIGATE THE GOVERNMENT TO ISSUE A SOLICITATION. Include company name, address, telephone number, technical point of contact, item nomenclature, item description, and brochure/literature.
