- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Western Service Area is soliciting competitive proposals for a contractor to renovate and refurbish various areas of the Salt Lake City National Network Control Center (NNCC) located in Salt Lake City, Utah. The project includes removing the two existing multi-zone air handling units and associated return fans; the eight existing computer room air conditioning units; the eleven duct reheat coils associated with the two multi-zone units; thirteen fan coil units and all associated controls installed within the NNCC Building. Provide and install two new multi-zone units, eight computer room air conditioning units, and eleven duct reheat coils; thirteen fan coil units and a Johnson Controls Metasys direct digital control system which shall be integrated to the system installed in the Salt lake City Air Route Traffic Control Center. There are also five small optional projects associated with this contract - see electronic attachment C for optional contract line descriptions. The estimated dollar value for this contract is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00 A tiered evaluation of offers will be used in source selection for this contract, and offers from other-than small business concerns will only be considered after the determination that an insufficient number of offers from responsible small business concerns were received (see Part IV, Section M for details). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238220 (Mechanical Contactors). For this NAICS code a small business is defined as a size standard with a maximum size standard of $13 million.
