Description
THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. This sources sought announcement is issued for information only. All responsible sources, including small businesses, are encouraged to respond to this sources sought. The set-aside is to be determined based upon the information received, if any. The Mission and Installation Contracting Command, Enterprise and Installation Operations, Regional Contracting Center-Ft. Sam Houston is conducting market research and desires input from industry to determine potential sources only. Please note: The Army will not be responsible for any cost incurred by interested parties in responding to this sources sought announcement. U.S. Army North (USARNORTH) San Antonio TX is interested in Wideband and Medium Band Imagery Dissemination systems. USARNORTH requires a wideband imagery dissemination system that can request imagery over a low probability of intercept/low probability of detection (LPI/LPD) unclassified network that will automatically pass imagery requests from the unclassified network to the NGA BRITE server on the SIPRNET. The wideband imagery dissemination system must be able to receive classified information from the NGA BRITE server over the DoD Global Broadcast System (GBS). The system must be able to simultaneously receive unclassified imagery over GBS from the Unclassified Domestic Dissemination Imagery Manager (UDIM) server located in Sioux Falls, SD. System must be delivered in 60 days after receipt of contract. For the M22 medium band imagery dissemination system, USARNORTH requires a medium band (128Kbps) imagery dissemination system that will be capable of requesting imagery using a low probability of intercept/low probability of detection (LPI/LPD) unclassified network that will automatically pass the imagery requests from the unclassified network to the NGA BRITE server on the SIPRNET. The medium band imagery dissemination system must be able to receive classified imagery over the Automated M22 Broadcast (AMB) system from the NGA BRITE server. System must be delivered in 60 days after receipt of contract. The Government requests interested parties submit their information in writing by mail or email by 1600hrs local time 1 August 2008.
