CONTRACTORS: PLEASE READ ALL INFORMATION CONTAINED IN THIS ANNOUNCEMENT Please respond to this SIR Announcement to Ms. Deana Galloway at deana.Galloway@faa.gov. DO NOT Call Mr. Michael Waite for any questions, answers or advice. Contractor must furnish all necessary labor, materials, equipment and services necessary to: Repave and replace the existing asphalt pavement at the FAA parking lot in GUAM. Criteria: Interested Bidders must attend a mandatory site visit scheduled for Thursday, August 7, 2008 at 9:00 a.m. If you are interested in attending the site visit contractors must submit their name, date of birth, and driver's license number when requesting a solicitation package. Failure to provide this information will result in NON-participation of the site visit. The period of performance is 30 calendar days. Contractors must take into account inclement weather conditions. Contractors interested in bidding must respond to this announcement by email in order to be considered to receive a solicitation package.T3.6.1 - Small Business Development Program (Revision 21, October 2007) 5 DOT Lending Program. "This Notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000. For further information and applicable forms concerning the STLP, call the OSDBU at (800) 532-1169." Scope of the project includes, but is not limited to: 1. Removal of dilapidated pavement2. Compaction3. Micrograding4. Installation of new 2" thick asphalt5. Re-striping The work will be performed in strict accordance with the specifications and contract provisions under the subject contract. Award of a firm-fixed-price contract is being contemplated to a responsible offeror who submits the responsive offer for this requirement.
