Union Street will bound the project site to the east and E Street to the south, and both will be closed to vehicular traffic. The project design architect is Richard Meir & Partners Architects LLP, and their design and construction documents have been completed and distributed to GSA as of April 2008. The new facility encompasses approximately 467,000 gross square feet of space, which includes 98 non-public, underground parking spaces and is programmed to include 14 Courtrooms with an initial build out of 21 Chambers.
