- MODIFICATION TO PRESOLICITATION NOTICE TO CHANGE THE NAICS AND SIZE STANDARD. SEE REVISED DESCRIPTION BELOW: The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Puget Sound has a requirement for Ballast Lead in support of the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS & IMF). This requirement is for Ballast Lead, 181,440 pounds or 81 long tons, W-20096D or equal (QQ-L-171), brick weight approximately 60 pounds each, all bricks supplied must be rectangular bricks 3 1/8 x 3 1/8 x 14. Requires FOB destination delivery to Bremerton WA by 20 August 2008. This requirement is being set aside 100% to small businesses. Size standard is 500 employees. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation which shall be considered by FISCPS. This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the NECO website: https://www.neco.navy.mil. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring that site for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offeror to access the posted documents.
