Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, VISN 6 Centralized Acquisition Service, intends to negotiate a sole source procurement with Harvest Technologies. This proposed contract action is for 20cc & 60cc platelet rich plasma kits, applicator syringe kits, and bone marrow stem cell concentration kits (10cc & 20cc of final product) for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The VA believes that Harvest Technologies,40 Grissom Rd, Ste 100, Plymouth, MA 02360-4841 is the only company that can provide these autologous tissue graft supplies for tissue injuries that are compatible with our existing centrifuge system. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any firm that believes it can meet these requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within 7 days from the date of publication of this announcement. Supporting evidence must be in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. Information may be sent to the Contracting Office, VA Medical Center, VISN 6/CAS (590/90C), 27 Averill Ave, Hampton, Virginia. 23667 or via email at Robert.betts@va.gov. Responses received will be evaluated however; a determination by the Government to compete the proposed procurement based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the VA Medical Center will proceed with the sole source negotiation with Harvest Technologies.
