- Dear Prospective Offeror: You are invited to submit a proposal in accordance with the requirements of Request for Proposal (RFP) 2008-Q-10634, entitled "The Tuskegee Health Benefit Program Case Management and Auditing". Workman, Contract Specialist Attention Deborah Workman, Contract Specialist Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (PGO) Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (PGO) Acquisition and Assistance Branch 1 Acquisition and Assistance Branch 1 2920 Brandywine Road, MS E-15 8 Corporate Square, Security Desk Atlanta, GA 30341-4146 Atlanta, GA 30341-4146 The Tuskegee Health Benefit Program (THBP) is a congressionally mandated program which provides comprehensive lifetime medical and health benefits to the affected wives/widows and offspring of participants in the Tuskegee Syphilis Study. The Center for disease Control and Prevention seeks to issue an award to provide case management services and audits of hospital and physician invoices for services rendered to enrolled clients. This award will be made in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation, Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The period of performance shall commence twelve months from award date. Also, bidders are instructed to submit budget information and evidence of how their organization meet minimum requirements listed in the Statement of Work. This request does not commit the Government to pay any cost for the preparation and submission of your proposal. It is also brought to your attention that the Contracting Officer is the only individual who can legally commit the Government to the expenditure of public funds in connection with this proposed procurement. All inquiries concerning the solicitation document must be submitted in writing and must be received by this office by 07/30/2008. Be advised that any resulting interpretation or clarification by the Government will be made in writing only to those firms/organizations expressing an intent to submit a proposal.
