- Description
- ERDC Contracting Office, Vicksburg, MS, intends to solicit on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, to Agilent Technologies, under GSA FSS. The requirement is to provide parts, service, software, and electronics to upgrade existing Agilent gas chromatographs. Agilent Technologies is the sole manufacturer of upgrade parts, service, software, and electronics for the Agilent instruments to be upgraded. Interested organizations holding a GSA FSS may submit their capabilities/qualifications to perform these services in writing to the identified point of contact no later than 10:00 a.m. Central Time Zone on 18 July 2008. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based on responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. No RFP will be issued based upon this Notice of Intent.
