- This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for Commercial Items prepared in accordance with the Format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Reference Number N4561008RCTR002 is issued as a request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 97-19. This solicitation is ONE Hundred Percent Small Business Set-Aside. NAICS 334310. This requirement is for the Navy Consolidated Brig, Charleston, SC 29406. This requirement is for the following equipment: (1) Military Skills Engagement Trainer (MSET ) VBS II Classroom Trainer (CT). Used to help Military Units Train an develop tactical decision and judgmental skills, Improve target acquisition and engagement, Train with inert recoil weapons or unit assigned weapons outfitted with laser inserts and or drop-in recoil kits. Thirty-five to One Hundred and Five degrees field of view screen capable Set-up and deploy the system rapidly with minimal training reliable, durable, and affordable Night vision capable MSET-CT, Laser Shots military classroom training simulator can go from completely stowed to full training mode in less than fifteen minutes. All of the components are in a contained lockable, two-part rolling case. MSET-CT System includes: Ultra II Laser Detection Camera, Rack Mount computer, Projector, Contained lockable two-part rolling case multimedia Amplified speakers UPS Battery back-up, 1911A Laser handgun trainer MS Office; Courseware: Basic rifle Marksmanship (takes a student through the Four Fundamentals of Marksmanship), 3D Firearm cyclic Actions (is designed to teach the mechanical operations of various weapons), Skill Drills Vol. 1 (Includes 10 simulations that were designed by firearms training professionals to specifically enhance your combat shooting skills), Course of Fire 2 software (enables an instructor to create a new qualification course from one to four lanes of fire), Branching Video Scenario Player (students train using interactive, realistic video scenarios), Optional Courseware: Virtual Battlespace 2 (VBS2), Branching video Editor (trainers can film and create branching videos that are suited to their organizational needs); Weapon Options: Simulated Recoil Weapons, Recoil Kits, Non-Recoil Firearms, Laser Training Inserts; Weight and Demensions: Lockable rolling case (with all equipment) (135lbs, 26 inches x 28 inches x 40 inches) 17 Cubic Ft.
