- Description
- The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Region 1, Portland, Oregon, has a project at the Conboy Lake National Wildlife Refuge to construct 2 buildings, a new Bunkhouse and a new staff Quarters. The Bunkhouse is a slab on grade, wood frame structure of approximately 2300 square feet consisting of 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a one bedroom apartment unit, and a 3 season porch. The Quarters unit is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath, house with 2 car garage of approximately 2472 square feet. Building construction is continuous strip footings, slab on grade and conventional light wood framing. Utilities will be stubbed to within 5 feet of the buildings under separate contract. Both building will require a 13D fire sprinkler system. This contract will require preparation of the building pad for each building Conboy Lake NWR is located a 1637 BZ Glenwood Highway, near Glenwood Washington, Klickitat County. A separate contract for Site Development and the Office/Shop building will be occurring simultaneously. Project magnitude is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. This will be "best value" procurement with award evaluation factors based on experience, past performance with similar projects and price. Price is significantly lower than experience or past performance. Experience and past performance are of equal value. Solicitation number 101818R744 will be posted in approximately 27 days and may then be viewed thru a link to the National Business Center Interior Electronic Acquisition System-Electronic Commerce at "http://www.fedbizopps.gov" or "http://www.nbc.gov". The solicitation response date will be approximately 30 days from posting date. No further notice will be posted on Fedbizopps.
