Description

Contract requires the drilling and construction of of a culinary well for use of campground visitors at the Red River Campground administered by the Nez Perce National Forest. The construction will include equipment move-in/move-out, surface seal (includes drilling), drilling to accommodate 6 inch Casing, 6 inch Casing in Place, 4.5 inch well screen, perforating, well development, test pumping and PVC well liner. Seeding the areas disturbed by construction activities will also be required. The project area is located on the Red River Ranger District, approximately 5 miles northeast of the Red River Ranger Station and approximately 55 miles from Grangeville, ID. To reach the project site, travel south on Hwy 13 from Kooskia, ID to Hwy 14. Continue south and east on Hwy 14 to Forest Road 222 and on 222 to the Red River Ranger Station. From here, travel northeast on Forest Road 234 to the Red River Campground. Price estimate for the project is between $25,000-$100,000. We expect to solicit for the work in July or August 2008.
