This sources sought notice is issued for the planning purpose of creating an indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract for Logistics School Services and support for Fort Carson, Colorado. We anticipate that this acquisition will be an 8a sole source set aside under the North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) 611699 and size standard $6.5M and are seeking to identify interested parties with this announcement. The period of performance is estimated to be 1 October, 2008 to 30 September, 2009 with the possibility of up to four one year option periods. The estimated value is under $3,500,000.00 with an estimated IDIQ minimum of $1940.00. Required Logistics School Course classes include: Property Book Unit Supply enhanced (PBUSE); Standard Army Maintenance System enhances (SAMS-1E); Motor Pool Operations Management (MPOPS-MGT); PBUSE-Supply (S4); Operations/Management (OPS-MGT); PBUSE Operators/Supervisors; ULLS-Aviation (ULLS-A) Crew Chief; ULLS-A Production Control/ Production Control (PC/QC); ULLS-A Technical Supply (ULLS-A Tec Supply); PBUSE/SAMS-1E Review; Command Supply discipline Program; Fuel Handle and Generator Operator Class; Unit Armorer; Nuclear, Biological, Chemical (NBC) Defense Class; Unit Movement Officer; Food Service Refresher Training; PBUSE Certification Testing This sources sought notice is for market research purposes only and should not be construed as a commitment or authorization to incur costs in anticipation award. To be eligible for the contract, all contractors must have also completed their ORCA (Online Representations and Certifications Application), https://orca.bpn.gov. Contractors must also be 8(a) firms in good standing with their servicing SBA office with an 8(a) graduation date not earlier than 1 October, 2013 and considered small businesses under the above size standard with current CCR registrations. To request the Interested Parties response packet please contact MAJ LaChiana A. Hamilton at lachiana.hamilton@us.army.mil. The packet includes a Performance Work Statement, proposed Course Schedule and presentation format guidelines. The contractor shall follow the instructions in the packet when preparing a response. The last day to respond to this announcement is 21 July 2008. Depending upon responses received, interested parties may be asked to present capabilities briefings at the Fort Carson Directorate of Contracting from 23 -25 July, 2008. Briefings shall be limited to 1 hour in length and two people per company and specific format guidelines will be given to the selected vendors. The Government reserves the right to limit the number of presentations based upon the packages submitted. Response Packet Guidelines 1. Contact MAJ LaChiana Hamilton (lachiana.hamilton@us.army.mil) to set up a briefing time. Morning briefings shall be conducted between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Afternoon briefings shall be conducted between 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily. 2) Response Packets are due no later than 21 July, 2008. Response packets shall include a one page listing of the companys capabilities in regards to conducting the Logistics School and 3 past performance contacts with work relevant to training requirements. 3) Presentation Guidelines for qualified vendors selected to conduct capabilities briefings. a. Presentations are limited to 1 hour b. 2 presenters per Company may be present to brief c. Presentation shall include: (1) Company history (2) Company qualifications to conduct the Logistics School (4) Previous training with Government / Private industry and relevant experience with regards to PWS Paragraph C.1.6.10 (Instructors) and C.1.109.2 (Instructor Qualification Requirements). (3) At least one slide for each course
