- This is not a request for a quote/proposal/bid. The intent of the sources sought synopsis is to identify potential offerors for Maintenance Services for Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) System For Power Distribution (Including Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) System) and The Utility Tunnel. Description* Perform periodic Preventative Maintenance and Inspection (PMI) services in order to help prevent and correct deficiencies with the equipment and system thus minimizing breakdowns and service interruptions, extending component service life, and maximizing operating efficiency.* Inspect and adjust SCADA system including gas detection system, fire alarm system and telemeter system to proper operation. * Provide qualified personnel at the site and initiate required corrective action for emergency calls within four hours, and routine calls within twenty-four hours. * The requested period of performance is for FY09, plus four option years (FY10-FY13). * In addition to the above, IDIQ work may be ordered on a task order specifying the types of work to be accomplished. The proposed contract action is for commercial supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may indentify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all correspondence received no later than 31 July 2008. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
