Description

COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION (Support Sofware and Telephone Annual Support for ADC 100 Automation System ) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation/synopsis reference number 2165-8119-0627 is being issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ) and incorporates the following with the word “quoter” substituted for “offeror”. Provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-18. (1) FAR 52.212-1 (Instructions to Offerors – Commercial Items) (JAN 2005): (a)Re para (a): NAICS 334220 ; this requirement is unrestricted, Standard 13 Mil. (b)Note that para (k) requires quoter to be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database at time order is issued and throughout performance. (2)FAR 52.212-2 (Evaluation – Commercial Items) (JAN 1999) with the following insertion in para (a) “lowest priced technically acceptable quote with acceptable past performance.” Technical evaluation will be whether quoted items satisfy all requirements in CLINs 0001 thru 0002 descriptions below. (3)QUOTATIONS MUST BE RECEIVED NOT LATER THAN 2:00 PM PACIFIC TIME 11 July 2008 IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED. Due to technical issues email and fax may not result in your proposal arriving before the cut-off time, please allow extra time if you’re sending your quote via electronic means. (4)Quotations must include completed copy of provision at FAR 52.212-3 (Offeror Representations and Certifications – Commercial Items) (MAR 2005) with Alt 1 (APR 2002) or indication that reps and certs are in ORCA. Period of Performace 1 August 2008 thrue 31 July 2009 FOB Destination 30 days after receipt of order to Defense Media Center 23755 Z St Riverside Ca 92518-2017. Attn: David Boyer The government intends to award a sole source contract to Harris, Inc., for Non-personnel services and Support Sofware and Telephone Annual Support for ADDC100 Automated System. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposals contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This is Sole Source Procurement. All equipment must be Harris manufactured items. Substitutes for these lines items will not be accepted based on the Sole Source Justification. The Government will issue an order to the responsible quoter; with acceptable past performance, submitting the lowest priced technically acceptable quotation.
