Description
The Philadelphia Division, Contracting Department of the Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC) Norfolk intends to solicit and negotiate on an unrestricted basis, a Firm Fixed Price type contract. The purpose of the resultant contract is to acquire operational, technical, and clerical support and limited training for the Navy Warfare Development Command (NWDC) in the area of Classified Material Control and to a lesser degree Information Assurance in the Remanence Security area per DOD, DON, and Command Policy. NWDC requires a Classified Material Control Clerk to support their Security Department in the management, disposition, and disposal of classified material and to maintain IA Remanence Program compliance. The Control Clerk must have a general knowledge of national security policies and procedures, naval operations, and naval organizations. The Control Clerk must also have knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, IA instructions and guidelines, classified material control procedures, and network security tools in order to effectively support the NWDC Security Department. Performance of work under the resultant contract will require access to information at up to the SECRET (NOFORN) security classification. It is anticipated that the contract will contain a base period of performance of twelve months plus four (4) twelve month option periods. During this period of performance, this office will be relocated due to the BRAC program and the awarded contractor must be able to provide these services in both the Newport, RI and Norfolk, VA areas. It is anticipated that the base year of performance will be in Newport, RI. The place of performance for the option years is unknown at this time and may be unknown at the time of award. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 519190 (All Other Information Services).
