- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-25. Solicitation number W31P4Q-08-T-0492 is being issued as a request for quote (RFQ). The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, AL, intends to negotiate a sole-source contract with NEi Software Corporation, 5555 Garden Grove Blvd. Suite 300, Westminster, CA 92683-1886. However, all responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. This requirement is described as follows: CLIN 0001 will be issued for three (3) each of NEi Nastran Expert, NEi Works, and OP2 Translator Maintenance Renewal License. The place of delivery, acceptance, and FOB point is Destination - U.S. Army RDECOM - AED, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, 35898, marked for the attention of Ms. Susan Osterlund, AMSRD-AMR-AE, 256-313-8416. The required period of performance for CLIN 0001 is from date of award through 12 months. Any award resulting from this RFQ will be issued on Standard Form 1449 and will contain all clauses required by law, the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) as appropriate for the dollar value of the award. Provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial; Provision 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial items; Provision 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications OFFERORS MUST INCLUDE A COMPLETED COPY WITH THE OFFER, Provision 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions, and Provision 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders - Commercial Items are applicable to this acquisition. Offer is due not later than 16:00, Local Time, 8 July 2008 in the contracting office, Building 5400, Room B140, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, 35898-5250.
