Description: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a trailer and associated equipment prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, in conjunction with FAR 13.5, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is 08TC408 and is issued as a Request For Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-26 and DFARS change notice 20080513. This acquisition is a 100% Small Business set aside. The NAICS code is 336212. The size standard is 500 employees. The offeror must quote on an all or none basis, state discount terms and warranty information. The contractor shall provide the following items: Item 0001: QTY: 1 Each PACE AMERICAN TRAILER (OR EQUAL), 8.5’ x 26’ x 6’5”, 5000LB AXWLS; RAMP DOOR, REAR; DARK BLUE METALIC PAINT; EXTENDED TOUNGE. WITH THE FOLLOWING MODIFICATIONS: Item 0002: QTY-4 EA, 16” TIRES. Item 0003: QTY-1 EA, 16” SPARE TIRE. Item 0004: QTY-15 EA, “D” RINGS IN FLOOR. Item 0005: QTY-2 EA, 36” SIDE DOORS. Item 0006: QTY-1 EA, ELECTRICITY PACKAGE; 110v SWITCHES. Item 0007: QTY-6 EA, 110v OUTLETS (INSIDE). Item 0008: QTY-4 EA, 110v OUTLETS (OUTSIDE). Item 0009: QTY-4 EA, SIDE HALOGEN LIGHTS. Item 0010: QTY-2 EA, REAR HALOGEN LIGHTS. Item 0011: QTY-6 EA, 4’ LIGHTS. Item 0012: QTY-2 EA, 24’ AWNINGS. Item 0013: QTY-2 EA, 13.5 BTU A/C UNITS. Item 0014: QTY-4 EA, ROOF VENTS. FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation of Commercial Items applies-quotes will be evaluated based on most advantageous to the Government, price, and other factors considered. The following factors are stated in relative importance and shall be used to evaluate quotes: 1.technical capability of the item offered to meet the Government requirement for Pace American Trailer or equal; 2.price; 3.delivery date (see FAR 15.304). To be eligible to receive an award resulting from this RFQ, contractors must have current registration in the DoD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) database, no exceptions.
