- The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has a requirement for TAA and 508 compliant 20 inch Monitors. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation for this requirement; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. No solicitation document exists and requests for same will be considered non-responsive. Interested sources should indicate their ability to provide at a minimum the specifications as listed and if available on GSA Federal Supply Schedules. This solicitation is for the purchase of one (1) monitor to be delivered and tested for compatibility, prior to the agreement to purchase an additional 499 monitors under this request. The total price to be evaluated shall be based on 500 Monitors. Delivery Requirements: Delivery terms are FOB Destination. Monitors will be delivered to various locations within the NCR. QUOTE PREPARATION: Offerors shall prepare quotes in accordance with FAR provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial and shall include a completed copy of the provision 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial. Responses that do not contain this information will be considered non-responsive. EVALUATION: Offers will be evaluated in accordance with FAR Provision 52.212-2 with the following significant evaluation factors: Technical and Cost. Award will be made to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offer. The contractor will be required to comply with FAR clause No. 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions--Commercial Items, in its entirety. Under FAR clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercial Items, the contractor shall comply under paragraph (b) with the following FAR Clauses: 52.203-6, 52.209-4, 52-212-14, 52.219-8, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, 52-225-1, 52.225-2, 52.233-3 and 52.239-1. E-mail quotes will be accepted and should be sent to patricia.a.session@irs.gov. These responses must arrive at the place and by the time specified in this solicitation. These responses must contain required signatures. The reference number for this request for quote is Q8QT17IEC21. Questions regarding this solicitation must be submitted in writing by June 24, 2008.
