Description

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Region 5, invites offers for the aerial application of chemical herbicides for phragmites control at the Cheasapeake Marshlands Complex (Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge) and Eastern Neck National Wildlife Refuge, Maryland. Timeframe for application is August 1 - September 15, 2008. The Contractor shall be required to furnish all necessary equipment, labor, materials and herbicides necessary to accomplish the specified vegetative control and eradication on a total of 400 acres. NAICS is 115112. Quote closing date will be on or about 07/27/2008. This procurement is set-aside for small business. Interested, qualified firms, with a strong past performance record, may submit their request to: U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, 300 Westgate Center Drive, Hadley, MA 01035-9589, Attn: Dale E. Aubin, Contracting Officer, not later than close of business July 7, 2008. Telephonic requests WILL NOT be accepted. However, FAX requests will be accepted at FAX # (413) 253-8450. Any requests for a solicitation package shall include the name, address, telephone number, name of point of contact, and should be identified by the solicitation number and the title shown above.
