- THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) This solicitation number N68335-08-T-0078 is issued as a competitive request for Quote (RFQ). (iii) This solicitation will be 100% small business set aside in accordance with FAR 52.219-6. The NAICS is 335312. (iv) The Navy has a requirement for: Qty (10) Mobile Electric Power Plants. Offerors shall include the manufacturer or brand name of the product and descriptive information. Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINS) are for the following listed items: -CLIN 0001: Qty 10, Mobile Electric Power Plants The requirements below are a minimum to comply with operating conditions found in Kuwait. 1. This item will be mounted on a 4 wheeled trailer of not more than 96 inches long; 67 inches wide and 65 inches high. This unit will be used on the flight line around F/A-18 aircraft. 2. Environment: Must be capable of operation up to 140 deg (F) 3. Performance: 60KVA, 3 phase, 4 wire; 115/200 volt wye continuous 4. Must meet MIL-STD-704e electrical power requirements 5. Protection: Must meet MIL-STD-704e 6. Instrumentation: Must be equipped w/ coolant temperature battery, voltmeter, hour meter, oil pressure and fuel level gage 7. Must be supplied with a proprietary item, CUMMINS DIESEL ENGINE (NOTWITHSTANDING any other provision of the contract, no other product will be acceptable for use as a diesel engine). Engine shall have a 12 volt DC battery system, low oil pressure shutdown, high coolant temp. shutdown 8. ALL QUOTERS MUST SUPPLY COMMERCIAL LITERATURE FOR CLIN 001 SHOWING THAT THE PRODUCT MEETS THE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS OF THE SOLICITATION (v)Quotes are due by 12:00pm EST, 7 July 2008 at the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, Attn: Code 25232 Jillian Kohler, Hwy 547, Bldg. 562, Lakehurst, NJ 08733-5082. The Government will not accept faxed quotes. You may e-mail your quote to jillian.kohler@navy.mil or mail it to her at the following address: Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Contracts Dept. Bldg 562 Attn: Jillian Kohler, Highway 547, Lakehurst NJ 08733.
