RE: RMK00080064 The purpose of this amendment is to answer questionssubmitted by interested offerors. Round One Questions and Answers: Q1. "This is presently due 16 June, a fairly rapidturnaround for a proposal. Respectfully request atwo-week extension to receive your answers from thesequestions and ensure a complete proposal response." A1. The submission date has been extended from June16, to June 23. Q2."Proposal Submission - we are requesting additionaldetails, if available:a. We understand you are requesting a technical andcost proposal together. Do you request them in thesame document, or in different documents submittedat the same time?b. Is there a page count limit for any part of theproposal?c. Is there a specific format (font, point, marginsize, etc.)?d. Is there a specific media or delivery format forthe proposal?1. On page 30, paragraph 2(b), requests a signed anddated offer delivered to the office specified. Willan email of the file be acceptable as well?2. If the paper form of the proposal is requested, isthere a specific number of copies of the proposal youneed? Is an electronic media version (i.e., CDformat) requested as well?" A2. Cost and proposal documents should be twoseparate documents, submitted at the same time. Currently there is not a page limit. There are nospecific proposal formats suggested, at this time. Donot send proposals by email, this document will be toolarge to pass through our server. Send three (3) hard copies of the proposal, plus two(2) electronic copies (Compact Disc) for a total offive (5) items - via Federal Express, UPS, US PostalService, or it may be hand delivered to: Linda A. "Page 16, Task 12 - Traininga. The Start Dates for the three instructor-leadcourses listed are [have] already past. Is thisrequest for classes already completed through anotherpurchase and no longer relevant, or do you haverevised dates for these classes?i. Oracle Access Manager - 20 May 2008 ii. Stellent: Content Mgt Server - 13 May 2008 iii. Build J2EE Applications I - 21 April 2008" A3. It is preferred that the training schedule bedetermined upon contract award. Q4. "Is there a minimum and/or maximum number of pastperformance qualifications to be submitted with thisbid?" A4. A minimum of three (no more than five) pastperformance references must be submitted. Referenceswill be contacted; therefore, vendor must ensure thatall information provided is current. The BIA willforward a past performance survey to each reference,and the survey will be returned to the BIA. Q5. "[Offeror] is an certified Advantage Partner forOracle, and we offer training; could we offer ourtraining classes rather than the Oracle credits? A5. No, we are familiar and comfortable with theOracle University format. Q6. "Can the bid be submitted and accepted withoutthe training components?" A6. No, we want them combined. Q7. Is there an incumbent currently performing onthis contract, or is this a new requirement? A7. This is a new requirement. Q8. What is the anticipated award date of thecontract? A8. Approximately August 18, 2008. Q9. Is there any specified budget for thisrequirement? A9. There is sufficient funding for the requirement. Q10. Can you send us a list of potential bidders /companies who requested this SOW so that we can teamup with other potential vendors? A10. No Please forward further inquiries via fax or email.
