Description

This requirement is set-aside for certified HUBZone contractors only. Certification must be held at the time of bid submission in order to be qualified to submit a bid. The project consists of the replacement of approximately 1200 LF of existing Vitrified Clay Pipe with 8 inch diameter SDR 35 PVC and the installation of eight precast concrete sewer manholes and related pavement repairs and soil erosion control measurements. The magnitude of construction for this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. A payment bond will be required of the successful contractor. Offerors are required to attend a pre-bid meeting at the project site which is scheduled to be held on July 1, 2008 at 9:00am. The period of performance for this project is 30 calendar days and due to the urgency of this repair, the contractor will be required to begin work within 5 calendar days after receipt of a payment bond which wil be due no later than 10 calendar days after receipt of award.
