- Travis AFB intends to procure the personal services of a Medical Physicist for the base hospital, David Grant Medical Center. Period of performance is 1 Oct 08 through 30 Sep 09 with four option years. Complete details of required experience, evaluation factors and the performance work statement (PWS) will be included in the request for proposal (RFP). This requisition is un-restricted. The North American Classification System (NAICS) is 621399 and the related size standard is $6.5 million. Award shall be made based upon best value to the government in accordance with FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation of Commercial Items, with the evaluation factors being price, experience, past performance, and technical expertise. The government reserves the right to award a contract other than the low offeror. The solicitation will be made available on or around 7 July 08. This date is an estimate and subject to change without notice. The solicitation package will be posted on www.fbo.gov. When requested, the Government will send an electronic version of the solicitation package via email. Prospective offerors are responsible for monitoring the fedbizopps (FBO) website for release of the solicitation package and downloading their own copy of the solicitation package and any other pertinent information. Prospective offerors who download the solicitation are requested to submit their company name, address, phone number, fax number, email, points of contact, DUNS number and business classification (i.e. large, small, disadvantaged, 8a, HUBzone, woman owned, veteran, service disabled, etc) to Contract Specialist Matthew Gross, phone (707) 424-7664, fax (707) 424-0288, or email at matthew.gross2@travis.af.mil. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. This notice does not obligate the government to award a contract nor does it obligate the government to pay for any proposal preparation costs. Prospective offerors must have or obtain a DUNS number, be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at http://www.ccr.gov, must complete FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representation and Certification Commercial Items at http://orca.bpn.gov, and Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF) at https://wawf.eb.mil to ensure electronic funds transfer.
