Description
This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial supplies prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.603 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. However, Request for Quotation (RFQ) 08SQ301182 will be issued simultaneously with this announcement to facilitate receipt of electronic quotes. The RFQ will be issued via www.fedbizopps.gov. This RFQ is issued under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 423720, Plumbing and Heating Equipment and Supplies (Hydronics) Merchant Wholesalers, and the size standard is 100 employees. Solicitation is 100% small business set-aside. The Bureau of Reclamation, Lower Colorado Region, has a requirement for 225 solar panels. The panels must be Heliocol brand or a brand equal to or greater than Heliocol. The following minimum specifications must be met. 4 x 12.5 ft STR-50 solar panels Length - 3.85 mWidth - 1.2 mArea - 4.62 mWeight "Dry" - 10.7 kgVolume Capacity - 14.4 litWeight "Wet" - 25.1 kgNo. of Spacers - 12 #Filled Area Weight - 5.4 kgRec. Flow Rate - 1200 lit/hrChemical Resistance - The polymer must be highly durable against corrosion, scaling, chlorine, bromine, iodine, HCL, and other chemicals; must also be resistant against salts and sea water. The RFQ contains the following: a description with quantities, and all applicable clauses and provisions.
