Description

Mountain Home AFB, ID is seeking information for market research purposes for the lease of temporary office facilities and temporary warehouse facilities. The resulting contract will require the contractor to provide six (6) temporary office facilities and two (2) temporary warehouse facilities for a period of one year with a possibility of four option years. The contractor shall provide installation and removal of all facilities. The temporary office facilities will each require a men's and women's restroom, heating and air conditioning, ADA compliant access ramps and stairways, windows on at least two walls, at least two exterior doors, and shall meet International Building Code requirements for snow load and wind load. The temporary warehouses facilities shall have wall penetrations for heating and cooling equipment, each shall have two roll-up doors and four personnel doors with panic hardware, shall be capable of supporting fire sprinkler and lighting systems, shall be capable of supporting electrical conduit for fire alarm and electrical systems, and shall meet International Building Code requirements for snow load and wind load. The purpose of market research will be to determine the common practices used in the commercial marketplace and the commercial/industrial standards the work must meet. Respondents will be requested to complete a market research questionnaire, either verbally or in writing, or both, and to participate in verbal discussions concerning commercial practices. Interested firms should notify this office, in writing or by email, of their intention to bid on the project as early as possible by not later than 20 Jun 07. All firms shall list their name, address, phone number, point of contact, email, and type of business (i.e. Small Business, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business etc).
