- The U.S. Department of Labor, Employment and Training Administration (DOL/ETA) is soliciting proposals to select a contractor to provide actuarial support for the Office of Workforce Security (OWS) in the areas of state unemployment insurance (UI) trust fund forecasting, technical assistance to states in managing profiling models, budget and legislative estimating, and producing statistical reports. The period of performance for the prospective award will be twelve (12) months from the date of contract execution plus four one-year options to be exercised at the discretion of the government. A cost reimbursement type contract is contemplated being awarded under this contract. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 541611 and the size standard is $6.5 million. Offerors please be advised that this is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. Request for Proposals will be available on the FedBizOpps site at http://www.fedbizopps.gov and the DOL/ETA website at http://www.doleta.gov, approximately 15 days from the date of this publication. Requests for Proposals in hard copy form will not be available. Telephone requests will not be honored. Closing date for receipt of proposals will be July 14, 2008, at 2:00p.m., local time. No collect calls will be accepted. It is the sole responsibility of the offeror to continually view the websites for any amendments made to this solicitation.
