Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format found in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested, and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this request is 70181-8-Q041and the solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the current Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC 05-16) and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). B.1. Exit onto Palmer-Wasilla Highway north of Palmer from the Glenn Highway. Turn left on Edgerton Road. Site is approximately 2.5 miles west. Alternative delivery site is the Central Landfill near Palmer, Alaska, depending on construction project status. Contact the US Fish and Wildlife Project Manager (William Rice, 907-271-1798, william_rice@fws.gov) prior to delivery date to coordinate delivery location. Delivery Date:Fabrication time from award of bid is estimated to take 4 weeks with delivery taking 2 weeks. Delivery date is desired for July 15, 2008. PROVISIONS AND CLAUSES:The Provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offers-Commercial, applies to the acquisition. The applicability of FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items applies, and the specific criteria to be used for evaluation shall be as follows:1) Total Price; (cost analysis for determining low bidder will be based on total overall bid. Total overall bid means Base Bid Item One, Two & Three).2) Additional discounts and/or rebates.
