- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) web page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) website located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the Internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) intends to procure electrical hardware supplies. The electrical hardware shall be the original equipment manufacturer materials (OEM). Partial early deliveries are acceptable. This acquisition will be a Firm Fixed-Price contract under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). All items shall be delivered, inspected, and accepted FOB destination to NSWCDD, 6220 Tisdale Road STE 159, Dahlgren, VA 22448-5114. The closing date is 5 June 2008 at 2 p.m. EDT. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 423610 with a size standard of 500 employees. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Dahlgren Laboratory Procurement Division has implemented Electronic Commerce (EC) in the acquisition arena; therefore, this synopsis with any applicable amendments will be available on the World Wide Web at https://www.nswc.navy.mil/SUPPLY. DOD will no longer award contracts to contractors not registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) database. Registration may be accomplished by accessing CCR via Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. A paper registration form may be obtained from DOD Electronics Commerce Information Center at 1-888-227-2423. Please note the defense payment office may not make payment unless the contractor is established to receive electronic funds transfer (EFT). EFT payments are based on the based on the contractors EFT information contained in CCR database.
