Description
This requirement is for contract field services in support of the UH-60 BLACK HAWK aircraft during the period 1 Jan 2009 through 31 December 2009, with 4 one year options to be exercised through CY 2013. The contractor shall provide logistical and technical support for the UH-60 BLACK HAWK aircraft at such activities and installation in OCONUS or CONCUS areas. These services shall be by factory trained technicians who are fully qualified in accordance with DFARS 237.203 to perform as Contractor Field Service Representatives (CFSRs) assigned on-site for the duration set forth in the contract. The primary mission of this service shall be to transmit the knowledge necessary to update the Department of the Army military and civilian personnel in technical skill capabilities required to operate and maintain the UH-60 BLACK HAWK aircraft system to include the Aviation Intermediate Maintenance (AVIM) level, including all associated test, measurement and diagnostic equipment (TMDE) and ground handling support equipment. The second mission of this service shall be to provide on the spot advice to the military personnel and the civilian Logistics Assistance Representatives (LARs), to resolve technical problems incident to operating, testing, trouble-shooting and general maintenance practices associated with the equipment. The contractor shall provide a communication link between CFSRs and the manufacturer's engineering and logistics support section to immediately resolve technical problems that exceed the capability of the assigned CFSR or the on site organic maintenance personnel. This is to include any and all technical problems for which current technical data is not available to the on site CFSR or users maintenance personnel. No telephone request will be accepted.
