Description
The U.S. Department of Energy, Southwestern Power Administration(Southwestern) intends to issue an Invitation for Bids (IFB) for the Robert S. Kerr Dam and Broken Bow Dam Protective Relay Duplex Switchboard Replacements. The project requires, but is not limited to Removing Six (6) Duplex Switchboard Sections at Broken Bow Dam; Furnishing and Installing New Duplex Switchboard Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 at Broken Bow Dam; Furnishing and Delivering New Duplex Switchboard Panel 1 CR at Broken Bow Dam; Furnishing and Delivering New Duplex Switchboard Panel 4R at Robert S. Kerr Dam; Furnishing and Delivering New Duplex Switchboard Panel 5R at Robert S. Kerr Dam; and Furnishing and Delivering Unmounted Materials for Duplex Switchboard Panel 3R at Robert S. Kerr Dam. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small businesses. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 335313 and the small business size standard is 750 employees. Contractor registration in the Governments Central Contractor Registry (CCR) is required in order to be eligible for contract award. Registration may be completed and information regarding the registration process may be obtained at http://www.ccr.gov. The solicitation package will be issued on or about June 30, 2008 with bids being due on or about July 31, 2008.
